As we step into a new year, we asked our central team to share their hopes, goals, and aspirations for 2026. The responses were thoughtful, creative, and full of ambition – reflecting the spirit of collaboration and growth that defines Manor Hall Academy Trust.

A pledge for progress

One colleague shared a pledge rather than a resolution:

“My pledge is to make the intranet a hive of really useful information and activity, so that no matter what someone’s role is, it’s useful and accessible to everyone. I want it to be the first place people think to go when they need something that will help them succeed, both professionally and personally.”

This vision speaks to our commitment to creating tools and resources that empower every member of our community.

Building brilliant operations

Another aspiration focuses on the foundations that make learning possible:

“I want us to carry on creating brilliant operations across our schools – think slick systems, brilliant ICT infrastructure, and buildings that are safe, warm, dry, and inspiring to learn and work in!”

Behind every great learning experience is a strong operational backbone, and this goal reminds us how vital that work is.

Of course, not every vision needs to be big-picture:

Leading with confidence

One of the most inspiring contributions looked at leadership across the Trust:

“My aspiration for 2026 is for every leader in our Trust to be able to lead their people with confidence – confidence in our processes, systems, tools, guidance, and support and that every leader feels valued and supported by us. How do we achieve this? With an investment of time, listening, acting on feedback, coaching, developing skills, and great visibility of the team out in our wonderful schools.”
