Listening, Leading, and Learning Together
This November, as part of UK Parliament Week, we’ve been shining a light on pupil voice and leadership across our Trust.
From School Councils to Parliaments, our pupils have shown that leadership and democracy aren’t just concepts to learn about — they’re values we live every day.
Across our schools, students have shared their ideas, debated key issues, and worked together to make a real difference in their school communities.
🗳️ Shenstone Lodge School
At Shenstone, the School Council empowers pupils to share their ideas, influence school decisions, and take responsibility for positive change. Their meetings are full of creativity, kindness, and collaboration — true democracy in action.

🏛️ Springfield School
Springfield’s School Parliament ensures every pupil has a voice. From shaping school projects to leading events, pupils are actively contributing to school life and learning how to work together for the good of others.

🗣️ Cicely Haughton School
At Cicely, the School Council gives pupils the platform to represent their peers, share ideas, and help shape their school community. It’s a space where every child’s voice matters — and where they’re learning the confidence to lead.

đź’› A Shared Commitment
These initiatives capture the heart of what makes our schools special — communities where
#everyonelearns #everyonebelongs #everyonegrows.
We’re incredibly proud of all our pupils who have taken part in their School Councils and Parliaments this term. Their leadership, empathy, and teamwork reflect the best of Manor Hall Academy Trust — and show how pupil voice drives real change.
