We are incredibly proud to share the results of Oakfield Lodge School’s first full Ofsted inspection (1–2 July 2025).
The inspectors recognised the exceptional work happening at Oakfield Lodge, praising the school’s calm and settled atmosphere, strong relationships, and high aspirations for every pupil.

What the Inspectors Said
Pupils “thrive here”, benefiting from the warmth and kindness of staff and quickly rebuilding confidence after disruption in their education. They are supported to achieve well, develop character, and prepare exceptionally for adulthood.
Inspectors highlighted:
- Respectful and trusting relationships between staff and pupils.
- An ambitious curriculum designed to meet pupils’ needs.
- Strong subject knowledge and tailored support, especially for pupils with SEND.
- A comprehensive programme of careers education and personal development.
- The inspiring “Forever Tree” — celebrating each pupil who successfully transitions on from Oakfield Lodge.
Trustees, leaders, and staff were commended for creating “an aspirational culture where everyone is valued.”
