This September, we’re kicking off the new school year with something truly extraordinary. At Merryfields School, students in Jackdaws Class have gone beyond the classroom to make their voices heard — literally!

As part of Merryfields’ Enterprise Project, each class was given a small budget to come up with an idea that could raise money and bring people together. While some classes chose traditional projects, Jackdaws decided to dream big: they’ve written and recorded their very own music single.

From Classroom to Recording Studio

The project has been an inspiring journey of creativity, teamwork, and courage. From lyrics to vocals, every part of the single reflects the talent and energy of the children. And now, they’re aiming to share their music with the world.
